Mais non, ce ne sont pas des vrais, mais ceux du Dino Park du zoo de Bratislava !!! OUF !!!

No, they're not real, just those from the Dino Park from the Bratislava zoo !!! What a relief...

Ca fait un petit moment que Laure nous dit qu'elle adore les dinosaures, qu'elle en voudrait pour son anniversaire, qu'elle n'a plus peur... Bon, donc on oublie l'incident du Bioscope (près de l'Ecomusée, Ungersheim), où il a fallu sortir en urgence de la salle d'exposition car la pauvre pleurait comme si elle allait vraiment se faire manger... (bon, ceci dit, à Bratislava, il y avait une petite projection d'un film en 3D, donc confiants, on s'est dit "Elle n'a plus peur..." ; il a quand même fallu la sortir de son fauteuil et la porter pour la rassurer car elle pleurait "Je veux sortir, je veux qu'on s'en aille" - c'était l'histoire d'un petit dinosaure qui n'avait pas de maman, avec des explosions de volcans, etc. Que voulez-vous, quand on est sensible... ceci dit je suis moi-même une madeleine et j'ai la larme facile).

It had been a while that Laure told us that she loves dinosaurs, that she wanted some for her birthday, that she's not afrait anymore... Right, so we forget about the incident at the Bioscope (next to the Ecomusée, in Ungersheim), where we hurriedly had to go out the exhibition hall because the poor thing was crying her eyes out as if she would really get eaten... (Well, I have to say that in Bratislava, there was a 3D film that we attended and we still had to get her out of her chair to hold her because she was crying and saying "I want to go out, I want us to leave" - it was about a baby dinosaur who couldn't find his mommy, with volcanos exploding, etc. Well, when a person is sensitive, you know... But I know how it feels : I get tear-eyed quite easily myself).

Puis nous sommes allés au château de Devin, où un grand festival se préparait pour le lendemain, pour fêter les 20 ans du changement de régime et la chute du rideau de fer.

Then we went to Devin Castle, where a big festival was being set up for the next day, to celebrate the political changes and the fall of the Iron Curtain 20 years ago.

Il y avait là-bas une sorte de campement médiéval animé par des jeunes gens, dont un parlait français, et les filles ont pu essayer toutes sortes d'armes - Laure ne voulait plus quitter son épée, et Elise qui rêve de faire du tir à l'arc a été ravie de trouver une arbalète. Même Jean s'est bien amusé !

There was there a sort of medieval camp, conducted by young people, one of whom spoke French, and the girls could try all kinds of weapons - Laure didn't want to put down her sword and Elise who dreams of doing archery, was more than happy to find a crossbow. Even Jean had a lot of fun !

Nous sommes montés tout en haut de la grande tour du Koliba, pour avoir une vue imprenable de Bratislava - une expérience qui a marqué les filles, ou alors elles aiment bien le mot Koliba, car elles en parlent souvent et l'utilisent beaucoup dans les histoires qu'elles inventent !

We went all the way up to the big tower of the Koliba, to get an unrestricted view of Bratislava - an event that the girls really loved, or else they really like the work Koliba because they talk about it very much and use the word often in the stories they make up !

Un petit tour de Bratislava la nuit en commençant par les hauteurs du château (qui a presque fini d'être restauré - mais personne n'aime la nouvelle couleur blanche qu'il arbore !!!)

A little walk in Bratislava by night, starting on the heights of the Castle (the restauration is almost over now - but nobody likes its new white color now !!)

Sur le pont, un restaurant panoramique appelé l'OVNI à cause de sa forme : le point focal de la ville pour Laure qui a été impressionnée (Une soucoupe volante ? Waow !! Quand est-ce qu'elle va décoller et nous emmener dans la quatrième dimension ?) - c'est vrai que pendant les vacances, le soir, on regardait quelques épisodes soigneusement choisis de cette série !

On the bridge, a panoramic restaurant called the UFO because of its shape : the focal point of the city for Laure who was very impressed (a Ufo ? Waow !! When is it going to take off and take us to the Twilight Zone ?) - it's true that we had been watching this series a lot - but we carefully selected the episodes if the girls were watching with us.

Et vous vous doutez bien que la fontaine qui change de couleur a eu un ENORME succès ! (Et que nous y sommes restés longtemps...)
