I had planned to do some gardening only in the morning and then I got carried away ! I spent the whole day hoeing ; the ground had been too hard to work on for the past month (it was too dry and stone-hard), and weeds were spreading and partying ! But seeing how things change and how the work progresses gives courage. Lots of things have grown and are blooming or getting ready to.
I pulled out the weeds I had poured boiling water on, if you pull them nicely and right, they come off with their roots intact and you don't need to use any harmful chemicals ! The small euphorbia in the second picture (that has come a long way, this winter it got snowed on, in its pot and half of its leaves were dead, so I planted it in this difficult spot thinking well if it doesn't survive, it won't matter much, and now look at it !!! I really love these colors) almost got invaded by those big ugly thistle-like weeds, and now it can shine again amid all the white rocks.

Ground covering sedum and a camomilla, from a seed brought by the wind ; I left it there because the foliage was nice, and now they're totally complementary
Blooming Deutzia "Nikko", on the left the seedheads of botanical tulips and on the right anacyclus depressus - Atlas daisy.
