Récemment j'ai énormément travaillé dans mon jardin, et je suis heureuse de voir comme il évolue. Ca ne fait que deux ans qu'il se construit petit à petit ! Ici c'est un petit massif devant la maison, composé principalement de plantes qui supportent la chaleur ; l'aménagement n'est pas fini car il y aura au fond à droite un récupérateur d'eau de pluie, qui sera caché derrière des plantes un peu plus hautes.

Lately I've worked in my garden a lot, and I'm really happy about how it turns ! We've been slowly but surely working on it for the last two years ! This is a small flowerbed in front of the house, mainly composed of heat-resistant plants ; the laying out is not over yet as there will be a rainwater tank in the right hand corner and it will be hidden behind high plants.

The front view - in the foreground, a border of Teucrium lucidris that has to get thicker and that will be trimmed in the future.

Détail : derrière les stachys, les derniers oeillets de poètes blancs s'entremêlent aux chardons bleus, qui tiennent compagnie à un lavatère annuel qui s'est ressemé là, avec les marguerites...
A detailed view : behind the Stachys lanata, the last white sweet williams mingle with the blue thistle, themselves in the company of an annual lavatera that reseeded itself here, along with the daisies...

Côté gauche, devant la maison : j'ai enfin désherbé et mis le paillis de gravier, tuteuré les grandes fleurs, coupé la bordure de gazon, et allongé la bordure de cailloux, ce qui élargit un peu le massif et me laisse de la place pour planter d'autres couvre-sol !!! Prochaine mission : désherber la descente de garage !
The left side, in front of the house : I weeded and completed the gravel mulching at last, staked the high flowers, cut the lawn at the stone border and added stones on it : now it curves up a little, giving me extra space to plant ground coverings !!! Next mission : weeding the garage path !

Et voici les prochains copains qui rejoindront ce petit monde ! La bassine prendra ses fonctions l'année prochaine, avec un panier que j'ai trouvé chez Emmaüs, il faudra que je vous montre ça.

Et maintenant c'est parti pour un petit tour de ménage !

And here are the next buddies that will be admitted into this little world ! The basin will be used next year, along with a wicker basket I found at Emmaüs (Goodwill), I'll have to show you.
