Mini-quilt achevé !

Ouf, que c'est gratifiant d'arriver à terminer quelque chose au milieu du tumulte et du chaos ! Ce week-end, entre copies, linge, rangement, vaisselle et tout le tralala, j'ai réussi à finir ceci :

En bref, sur le front des travaux manuels : le gilet jaune d'Elise ETAIT terminé - et les manches ont dû être défaites et recommencées, car trop étroites !!

Pour m'occuper pendant les vacances j'ai organisé un échange de tissus et j'ai demandé des tissus à fleurs, j'avais pris une photo, il y en avait de toutes sortes, vraiment de quoi s'amuser ! Ca m'a donné une idée de quilt, mais j'en ai plein à finir d'abord ! (là, la photo résiste encore... tant pis)

Et puis j'ai été taguée, il faudra encore que je prenne le temps de jouer le jeu ! Mais pour l'instant, dodo. Je suis épuisée, le lundi soir je finis la journée en beauté avec un groupe de bavards agités et j'ai besoin de décompresser et ensuite bien dormir.

I completed a mini-quilt this week-end, it's gratifying to manage to, in the midst of general chaos and laundry, grading papers, decluttering, washing and so on and so forth... so here it is : (Yes, Patty, it's red - I guess you like it very much !)

So in brief, on the crafts front : Elise's yellow cardigan WAS finished, but I had to undo both sleeves as they were way too narrow !

I wanted to do something nice and interesting during the holidays and I organised a fabric swap - I asked for flowery fabrics, I had taken a pic and there were really lots of them ! Really a wide variety to play with, I have a new idea for a quilt, but I first have many to finish first ! (Well, here the pic really won't upload... I'll try again some other time)

And I've been tagged, I still have to take the time to play the game ! But for the time being, to bed I'll go. I'm exhausted, Monday nights I finish with the final flourish of a class of chatty / restless / immature students and I always really need to relax, and have a good night's sleep.
