A overview of the village of Graufthal from the cave dwellings

Well, if I do a little every day I will manage to show you a lot of places we went to on holidays before school starts ! Speaking of which, I got a letter today from highschool and I noticed with a certain fright that I will have a Terminale (last year, they'll graduate in June 2010) which is in fact composed of former students I had last year and who were so hard to live with (and to teach to !) Arghhhhhh, I had asked not to have that class, and I wanted other 1st grades (in our country it corresponds to the second year of highschool out of three) to start anew and fresh... Well, all there is to do now is constitute the groups very carefully and not allow any change during the year so I can't find any #&@{%* from last year - but it is going to be hard since they cut out one class. Keep your fingers crossed ! (But still, how ironic !!)

Goodness, the photo of "la petite cuisine" surprised me. The houses really are part of the cave! No walls back there. It would be cold in winter.
I hope your classes go well and that your students will have matured a little over the summer.

Wow--people really live in those--how interesting. Good luck with your teaching--sounds like a challenge ahead, but I'm sure you will do well. Julie
