... school starts tomorrow and of course I didn't finish everything I had to, these last two days. My fault, I let myself get caught up in "the net" and the multiple tentations to be found there. For example, go over there, click the link and tell me if you're better at resisting than I am !
In fact, I would very gladly use the two coming days to go on a retreat in a monastery and enjoy REAL silence ! Is it a valid reason to skip school ?
Well, all in all it's been rather good : a tai chi seminar, a lot of work in the garden, and things have been progressing in the maintenance of the house anyway, and in crafting... and even if I didn't get to do all the things I had planned, it's hard to catch up on everything you kept for "during the holidays" in the previous 7 weeks, in just 10 days ! I think the most difficult is being at home the 4 of us, constantly. The noise, the kids who won't go out and that you have to drag out so they can run and unwind and stop bickering... Now my limit has been reached. It's tiring to have constant chatting full blast in your ears and I'm weary of repeating every other minute "Don't be so loud / I can hear you / I'm not deaf..."
And yet, seeing them like this, who could believe it ???Et pourtant, en les voyant comme ça, qui le croirait ???
