Not much time lately, a lot to do everywhere, for school, in the garden, in the basement and inside... I had some time to finish this little bag for Laure though. A big ball of yarn for 1 or 2 euros in Germany, I tried knitting again because it had been a long time, and there was a pattern for a similar looking bag in a craft magazine. The knitted rectangle stayed a few years on my table... the magazine had disappeared a long time ago... well, never mind...

and with the remaining hanging threads, we did something pretty. I did that a night when Laure was already asleep and Elise was with me, we had fun stringing the pearls - they come from an old box that Jean had bought them when they were much younger, and it very quickly ended up out of their reach to prevent their unwelcome scattering through the whole house !

Our efforts were rewarded a la Laure, when she found her bag hanging on her bed in the morning she looked disappointed and said "But I don't want the pearls..."
And this is a block that wasn't right for a friendship quilt, that Jenny gave me ; I've had it for a long time as well... I had to think what to add for a border, and it will become a lovely little cushion.
