1 - Notre voyage / Our trip

Nous sommes partis vers 6 heures du matin ; en deux heures nous avons traversé la Suisse, puis il restait le plus gros morceau : l'Autriche. Voici quelques photos prises de la voiture, qui n'ont pas trop mal réussi, à chaque fois que l'on voyait un château ou un bâtiment intéressant au milieu des montagnes.

We left home at about 6 in the morning ; in two hours we had driven across Switzerland, and then we had the biggest part left : Austria. Here are some pics taken from the car, that turned out pretty well, from interesting buildings or churches or castles in the mountains.

On a fait une petite pause près de Salzburg et les filles étaient ravies de poser sur le toit de la voiture (quelque chose qu'elles ont beaucoup redemandé à d'autres occasions !)

We stopped a little near Salzburg and the girls were happy to be seated on the roof of the car (something they asked for a lot afterwards !)

Puis nous sommes arrivés en Hongrie vers 17h30, dans la pension où nous étions déjà l'année dernière. C'est très agréable et nous mangeons toujours dehors ; l'endroit est calme, très vert, il y a un grand jardin derrière et des jeux pour les enfants, et les propriétaires sont très gentils.

Then we arrived in Hungary around 5.30 pm, in the place where we had already stayed last year. It's really pleasant and we have our meals outside ; the place is very quiet, and green with a big garden in the back, and a little playground for the children, and the owners are very nice.

Le lendemain, après une bonne nuit de sommeil, direction Lipot : par une journée chaude et ensoleillée, rien de tel qu'un petit plongeon pour se rafraîchir et un bon bain d'eau thermale pour se détendre après avoir fait tant de voiture !

And the next day, after a good night's sleep, we headed off to Lipot : on a hot sunny day, there's nothing like diving in fresh water to cool down, and a good hot thermal water bath to relax after sitting in the car for so long !
