I had to stay at home for a few days, doctor's orders, so I took advantage of the situation to SLEEP and put some things into order, like my school bags, my fabric scrap boxes, and finish some projects, like this one (no, not a recent one !)
I think it's finished, still have to make a label with my name and the year, then I can give it to the baby (who is... hem, almost 4 years old now) it was destined to.

Today is really a sunny and gorgeous day - we took a long walk with Jean, the girls are at their grand parents' house (which contributed to my feeling better quickly) but I didn't feel strong enough to work in the garden. I had to get ready for school tomorrow as well and correct some papers, edit some school reports - we can do it from home now thanks to something called Scolastance - but I did this the Flylady way, with regular sewing or chore breaks.

But still I went round the garden to marvel at nature coming to life again, flowers getting ready to burst, buds sprouting out of the ground...

And this little chrysanthemum that spent all winter next to the compost pile that it was to be thrown into... well it's not dead. So it's going to be planted and taken good care of.

And since last Friday, all my before bed thoughts and prayers fly to the places that are going through a hard time : Japan mainly.

How lovely to have a day at home to recuperate - I hope you are feeling better. Getting things in order always helps me, too.
Your garden is showing lots of signs of life - such an exciting time of year.
