Londres, nous voilà / London here we come !

We're on holidays, and I've been super busy : on the first days it was all about the garden, to weed, cut and prune, and now some places look the better for it. But it's all been very tiring, and it's been raining steadily for a few days, so I correct papers, which is not as exciting, but it has to be done because I was getting behind... I have 10 stacks that have been piling up and I did 4 so far. Tomorrow I'll have to go on, and in the afternoon I'll be leaving for London with Laure, and we can't wait !!

Avant / Before
Après / After

It doesn't look like much, but the soil is heavy and to uproot fistfuls of buttercups and couch grass ends up being painful, especially for my back.

But seeing the ground neater afterwards is encouraging.

And I never skip a little pause in my deckchair, under the neighbour's ornemental cherry tree (prunus serrulata Kazan), which is right at the edge of both properties so we get to enjoy it as well. The slightest breeze makes hundreds of pink petals fly away, it's really charming...

I wish you all a very nice week

Lorrie a dit…

Bon voyage.
