Après-midi fructueux

Ca y est, j'ai fini ma boîte. C'est encore une boîte de débutante, avec quelques imperfections mineures et quelques anicroches en cours d'élaboration (que les suivantes ne subiront plus) mais je suis très contente du résultat et je pense qu'elle fera plaisir à Christine qui la recevra samedi. Après ça, petite sieste, puis je file chez ma collègue Carine où se retrouvent Carole, Aline, Alison pour voir notre collègue germaniste Christine avec sa petite Manon, un amour de bébé
Toute cette charmante compagnie mise à part, il y avait aussi trois succulents gâteaux et bien évidemment je n'ai pas pu résister... Mon estomac est bien chargé et je crois qu'une petite soupe ou même rien qu'un fruit fera largement l'affaire. Je vais vite filer à la douche, et me mettre en route pour le club de patch ; demain est encore une journée chargée - j'ai entre autres un rendez-vous chez le dentiste, quelle joie ! Et samedi, ce sera fête de l'école d'Elise, puis anniversaire de sa cousine au Bioscope l'après-midi ; j'ai complètement oublié tout ça en disant à Jenny ce matin que je passerai samedi lui rendre ses quilts de l'expo de Ferrette !!! Soit on trouve un petit créneau dans la journée, soit on reporte à mercredi. Ah quand on est tête de linotte...

I finished my box this afternoon, which was very productive ; it's still a beginner's box, with little imperfections and snags during the putting together (which won't happen anymore with the next ones), but the final result is pleasing and I guess Christine will be happy to receive it on Saturday. After this, I took a little nap and off I went to my colleague Carine's place, where Aline, Alison, Carole were as well to meet our German-teaching colleague, Christine, with her sweet little Manon. That fine company aside, there were also three delicious cakes that I couldn't resist tasting, and now my stomach is so full that tonight a soup or even just a fruit will do.

Now I'm going to take a shower, and head for my quilt club ; tomorrow will be another busy day, I'll go to the dentist, among other things - yippeeee ! On Saturday, we'll go to Elise's school end-of-the-year "party" and in the afternoon we're invited to her cousin's birthday at the Bioscope ; I had totally forgotten about this when I told Jenny this morning that I'll stop by and bring her back her quilts from the Ferrette exhibition ; so either we find a little time to cram the visit during the day, or we'll just put it off till Wednesday. I can be such an airhead sometimes...
