Today I worked on Laure's cardigan a lot... and I have to face many challenges ! #1 : I don't have enough yarn ; thus it will be sleeveless. This is not the worst part... #2, and this is the worst part, it's a little narrow in spite of the generous (or so I thought) allowance I added ; the yarn is rather thick and I crochet rather tightly... I'll have to cheat and close it with one button only (even though she wants them all the way down, "like Elise" - I'll add them as decorations only) and do many finishing rows... Elise's cardigan was rather on the wide side, maybe I'll manage to find the "right middle" for the next one ?
Last Saturday we had our annual trip to Wesserling and this year the theme was "Spinning Gardens". A day for the kids with games and a nocturnal show that we didn't attend for Jean wanted to go home and the girls were getting tired. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Nous avons passé de longs moments là-bas, à plusieurs reprises !This game was fun : put a ball in the hose, turn it, turn it, turn it until the ball drops in the gutter above. It then rolls down and touches chimes hanging all the way, allowing you to hear its progression. We spent loooong moments there, several times !
