Floss, whose blog I found through Lorrie's, organised this magazine swap. Of course I couldn't resist, who could say no to another magazine ? She teamed me up with Rubyred and I think it was the best option - to me it is not just "chance", to me there is no such thing...
Go and have a peek at her blog, you will see lots of gorgeous things, crafts, her wonderful summer house in her garden, and what's more she has a little store where she sells her productions... (something I would love to do, in another world... but my "saling" skills would not allow me to do it for long, I think I would go bankrupt fast !)

So this morning I heard the postman drive by and I wondered "Could today be the day ?" I had two very recent misadventures with the Post and I've started to feel doubtful. I asked who would be ready to check the letter box and a very enthusiastic Elise went, still in her pyjamas...

And sure enough, there it is !! Tada !! Look at this lovely card... (will be framed, of course)... and this copy of Good Homes full of spring ideas... without further ado I grab the camera and go through it - an excited Elise just behind me - and here is what caught my eye, right then right there :

Vases and flowers ! Lightness and transparency, that's a good start.

Different shades of blue... with a preference for the first pages and the decor in turquoise or duck egg blue

A spring setting obviously calls for... flowers. I'm looking forward to read every little detail of this article.

I'm drawn to this spacious, luminous, uncluttered and neat space, where the curtains' big floral motifs give the room its appeal.

Oh my, what's not to like here ? February is the Decluttering month at Flylady's, and we've been in this process since the beginning of the holidays.

I have big projects for the little room in the basement where our washing machine is. This will give me even more inspiration !
Sur ce, j'ai mille choses à faire, et je vous retrouve j'espère encore ce soir pour commenter la photo d'hier. Avant de clore ce message, encore une fois Merci Floss, et Merci Rubyred !
Well, this being said, I have a million things to do, and I'll come back tonight to comment yesterday's picture. Before publishing this post, I would like to say again Thank you Floss, and Thank you Rubyred !

I'm so glad the swap is going so well! I love that magazine, and bought it a few times when I was in the UK last year - the photos you've chosen are lovely, and I also love that duck-egg blue page.
Have you been able to get to school today? Our boys came back (with a friend) after an hour because there weren't enough children or teachers for lessons...
Wonderful! You're going to have a wonderful time reading through your magazine. Since mine is going to France, I wonder how long it will actually take to get there. (Floss is my partner.)
And I see that I should have used "la boîte aux lettres" instead of what I did write in my previous comment. Not only do I enjoy reading your blog to see what you're up to, I learn a little French at the same time!
Do you have much snow in your area? We here in western Canada have had almost none. Our winter has been warm and dry.
Thanks for sharing pages from your magazine! I'll write about yours to me next week. I've not let myself open it yet, not even to "feuilleter les pages." But tonight at the cabin I will!
Lorrie
