I was earlier than the birds

Je me suis trop reposée dimanche !
I've been up since 5 this morning, and awake probably since 4... if not less. I had too much rest on Sunday ! Generally the first days I make myself stand still because my body unwinds (even if I'd rather do this or that) and if I overdo it then in the following days I walk around, too tired to do anything and miserable because I hate that ! So on Sunday it was "relax time" and yesterday yardwork ! So now I'm boiling inside with plans and projects, I went to bed exhausted but I've recovered and now I would like to go on !
So I decluttered the basement, hung some laundry, got a give away pile of stuff ready to take to Goodwill (Emmaüs), and then I went to get my water at the fountain. The air was chilly, but very invigorating.
Now I'm going to go to my hot-stones massage, my key appointment in the first days of the holidays, to get rid of all the tensions accumulated over the past weeks. I hope I won't fall asleep on the table !

Lorrie a dit…

What a charming fountain. It would be a pleasure to walk along the streets of your village in the morning to get water for your garden.
Enjoy your hot stone massage. I've never had one, but they sound wonderful!
