Kew Gardens 3

So we went on walking bravely, and I kept promising Elise we would be out of the gardens soon... I had no idea what was ahead of us. Neither did she !
She was already starting to feel tired when we came to the Meditarrenean Garden (near the red dot with a 2 on the map) so she sat down on a bench and I went alone. It was a fine, hot day so all the plants exhaled their lovely fragrances, it was wonderful ! Really a great success, this part of the garden really is.

Then we went straight to the restaurant at the other end, White Peaks café and shops. We thought we could sit down and relax but it's the part of the gardens where families and kids have a rest and it was rather noisy. We went to the toilets, sat for a while and off we went to the Royal Kitchens.

From that moment on we thought we would be out quickly... we wandered a little, looked at the geese and ducks and had much fun watching a baby moorhen that seemed lost bother the bigger ducks.

Then we found the exit, the Elisabeth Gate... but that's not where our story ends !
